Cleaning the Helmet’s Outer Surface

The outer shell of our helmet deserves cleaning as well, not only for a question of aesthetics, but also and above all to check its integrity. So, before getting on your motorcycle, remove the visor and give the outer surface a nice helmet clean!

Follow the same precautions taken for the visor, specifically a damp and clean microfiber cloth, lukewarm water and some mild liquid soap. Should the outer shell be rather dirty, it would be better not to rub too fiercely… it is actually advisable to add an extra step, so as to let the dirt soften in order to be able to remove it easily. General cleaning products you may have at home that are not specifically designed for helmets must be avoided at all costs.

They may contain solvents or other aggressive ingredients that interact or alternate the external paint and/or the graphics.
